Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425 F.

In a large bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place mixture on baking sheet. Gently press mixture to form a 9x12 even layer. Bake for 13-15 minutes.

Top beef layer with cheese slices and bake again briefly until cheese has melted completely.

While the beef cooks, make the sauce. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together mayo, yellow mustard, relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and salt.

Heat a griddle or large frying pan, and rub the open end of a stick of butter on the pan and then toast both the bottoms and tops of buns for a few seconds until they are browned.

Place buns on a baking sheet and spread special sauce along the top and bottom of the buns. Place shredded lettuce and onion on bottom of buns. Add the layer of burger patty and top with pickle slice and top of buns. Slice into mini sliders.
