Egg and Biscuit Bake With Cheese and Sausage

Ingredients:

  • 10 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup / Milk
  • 16 oz / Refrigerated breakfast biscuits Pillsbury
  • 4 Green Onions
  • 2 cups / shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz / cooked bacon or cooked sausage chopped or crumbled

Instructions:

  1. Use a 9x13 baking dish sprayed with butter flavored cooking spray Preheat the oven to 350
  2. Mix eggs and milk in a large bowl. Cutting each raw biscuits into fours and add them to the bowl. Do this before cooking meats, chopping the green onions, or grating the cheese giving the biscuits time to soak in the eggs.
  3. Add everything to the bowl and mix well. Pour into the sprayed baking dish and bake at 350 for 30 minutes, checking to make sure to brown but not burn the tops of the biscuits.
  4. When done cover with foil and allow to rest for 5/10 minutes for everything to meld. Cut into squares and use a metal spatula to loosen and remove from the dish. This bake stores well and reheats nicely in the microwave.
